About us
Our Story.
Kulbir Singh runs India Palace Catering the same way the restaurant has always run: personally, and with the idea that this is more than a transaction. He works directly with clients to plan and adjust the menu, not just hand over a set list, and for larger events, he'll visit the venue ahead of time to make sure the day goes smoothly. From Walnut Creek to San Jose, he's serviced office teams and corporate events of all sizes.
India Palace has been part of Alameda for over three decades, a neighborhood gathering place for families, friends, and food lovers across the Bay Area.
The recipes at the heart of the menu came directly from India with Kulbir Singh's father, who brought them to the restaurant and passed them down to Kulbir. The same care that recipe carries — locally sourced ingredients, real respect for where these dishes come from — is what shows up on office lunch tables today.
The philosophy is simple, and it's the same one on the rest of this site: the food should be the least stressful part of your day. Every dish is clearly labeled for dietary needs, deliveries carry extra portions as a buffer against last-minute headcount changes, and there's one accountable person to call — not a call center — from the first conversation to the last chafing dish picked up.
Today, India Palace Catering brings that same tradition, the one that's kept the Alameda restaurant a community fixture since 1992, into conference rooms and team lunches across the Bay Area.
